Central Oregon has several spooktacular events your ghosts and ghouls can spend the afternoon and evening haunting. Trick or Treat at Brookswood Meadow
Located in SW Bend, this plaza is the perfect place to take your crew trick-or-treating. Participating businesses will be handing out goodies for kids and pets alike and parents can feel safe knowing that their littles are in a safe space.

The Old Mill District Halloween Party
The Old Mill District is a family favorite for locals and the stores and restaurants provide goodies from 4-7 p.m. on Halloween. But the fun doesn’t end there. You can grab a hay ride on a cowboy carriage located between Fancesca’s and Ben & Jerry’s, check out the Sunriver Nature Center’s great horned owl, take part in a pet costume contest with the Humane Society of Central Oregon, and participate in crafts at the Art Station.

Spooktacular Halloween Fun at Village at Sunriver
Your kids will love showing off their costumes to all of the merchants at the Village at Sunriver. There will be a costume contest with frightening prizes, a cupcake walk, a bounce house, and spooky Halloween party. Event runs from 4 to 6 p.m.

Tales of Hallows Eve at the High Desert Museum
This event occurs the night before Halloween, but it’s one your clan won’t want to miss. High Desert animals appear during the readings of haunted and cautionary tales. If you dare, enter into the haunted Spirit of the West Exhibit. Make sure to wear costumes!

Redmond Fire & Rescue Halloween Event
Trick-or-treating is the least of what your kiddos get to do at this Halloween event. They’ll enjoy playing games, learning about fire safety, and riding on the fire engine. Event goes from 4 to 8 p.m.
